CSMNORM
CSM RO/NF Normalization software
CSM RO/CSMNORM software is the normalization software that allows NF element users to effectively evaluate the performance of the current membrane elements in their systems.
Version 1.0
The need for data normalization
Data normalization is one way to determine the performance of membranes in RO/NF systems. Membrane performances such as flow rate, salt rejection, pressure drop, and recovery are a function of operating conditions such as temperature, pressure, pH, membrane fouling, scaling, and degradation. As such operating conditions are constantly changing, it is difficult to compare actual data without standard conditions. Therefore, the normalization program is designed to "neutralize" the performance parameters, including temperature, pressure, and concentration, so that the performance at one site can be compared with that at another site. The normalization program allows users to identify membrane performance such as fouling, scaling, and deterioration of membranes and predict appropriate CIP timing through data where the effects of pressure, concentration, and temperature are removed.
CSMNORM Features
The design formula is prepared based on ASTM D-4516.
Data can be normalized by taking into account the characteristics of each product. It contains normalization values for NF, which can also be used for the normalization of NF.
