CSM has grown into a comprehensive manufacturer of filters, producing
RO, NF, UF, MF, and even ion exchange membranes by acquiring a microfilter
manufacturing line in 1998 and an ion exchange membrane manufacturing line
in 2020 after successfully commercializing reverse osmosis membranes being
widely used in seawater desalination, ultra-pure water production,
wastewater recycling, etc. in 1994.

Reverse Osmosis

CSM has been providing better technical support services to our customers based on the experience and technology accumulated over the past 30 years of producing and selling reverse osmosis membranes since 1994.

CSM's RO membranes feature the high flow, high rejection, and high recovery to provide better value to our customers. They maintain the high rejection of over 98% even at the high flow and increase the recovery from 60% to 75% in response to customer demand for high recovery following the recent implementation of a grading system for water purifiers.
Nanofiltration

The characteristic of nano membranes is that the rejection of monovalent and divalent ions present in water is different.

It allows for selective removal. Their main applications include the recovery of special chemicals, such as developers, dyes, etc., and expensive raw materials, and the removal of some of the monovalent ions while significantly reducing the concentration of divalent ions in seawater desalination plants.
Ultrafiltration

Ultrafiltration membranes can't remove ions from water, but can remove tiny particles

They can generally remove particles smaller than 0.01μm (one-ten-thousandth the size of a human hair). In addition to their industrial purpose of polishing manufactured ultra-pure water, they can also be used for domestic purposes.
Ion Exchange Membrane

The ion exchange membrane is composed of a cation exchange membrane (CEM), an anion exchange membrane (AEM), and anode membrane.

CEM blocks anions while allowing only cations to pass through the membrane. AEM can also separate cations and anions as it works by the same mechanism. And, ion exchange membranes can be mainly used in mCDI (membrane capacitive deionization), RED (reverse electrodialysis), ED (electrodialysis), and BPED (bipolar electrodialysis).
